Aim: The purpose of this paper is to elaborate the processes developed by HCAC to measure the implementation and compliance of primary health centers to HCAC family planning standards.
Materials and Methods: Primary health centers in Jordan emphases on providing health care and reinforcing and strengthening their own capacity to maintain health. Family planning services provided by these centers implies the people capabilities to use these services in the context of WHO philosophy. Upon that, HCAC developed family planning standards to measure the compliance of the primary health centers in the implementation of these services.
Materials and Methods: The family planning standards developed by HCAC, will be discussed in the term of:
Results and Conclusions: In conclusion, the compliance of primary health centers in the implementation of family planning standards and meeting the criteria stated by HCAC securing the well-being and autonomy of couples in choosing the appropriate family .
Biography: Dalal Bashir Yehia is the Vice Dean, Head of Nursing Section and a Faculty of Nursing at Al-Zytoonah University of Jordan in Jordan. Also, she is a Dean Assistant for Quality and Accreditation Unit. She received the PhD. Degree in gynecology and maternity nursing. She is certified surveyor at Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC), the accreditation body for all health care setting in Jordan (Hospital, primary centers and breast imaging unit, private family planning clinic). She had shared her thoughts in many national and international conferences; she was interested in women health issues specifically that are related to reproductive health issues.
